Belief and Being on Haitus-ish...

Hi, y’all. As much as I love writing for you, this substack will be on hiatus for a bit. This newsletter grew from my writing for the now-defunct online community The Chapel (R.I.P.). There I was churning out content 3-4 times a week, but the pieces were shorter and often I was writing about something specific: like a TV show, a Film, or a Podcast. These pieces here are much longer and I don’t have the natural rhythms of an existing website to write for, so I need a plan. Also, let’s say my life has less “free time” than it did before and I need to adjust for that, plus I do want to stretch my wings by writing pieces for other websites (and when that happens y’all will know).

This is not the end of Belief and Being! So please stay subscribed (though billing is suspended). You may see a fresh article here once in a while, or a short piece letting you know my writing has appeared elsewhere, but for a few months, there won’t be regular updates (to the crop of people who found me this past month or two, thank you! I promise there’ll be more content (though I am curious how you found me).

For my paid subscribers, thank you for your patronage. Again, billing is paused and if/when it resumes, I’ll reach out to y’all so you know in advance. Also when that happens you will have seen more regular updates.
